Ron Hooks
Executive Director

Ron Hooks is the founder and Executive Director of West Coast Care Foundation. Ron has more than 20 years of experience working with homeless people. He was the Executive Director of Providence House, an inner city rehabilitation center, in San Francisco’s Tenderloin District for 10 years. Ron also served as an Adjunct Professor at Patten University in Oakland, CA.

Ron is an Ordained Bishop with a Doctor of Philosophy in Counseling Psychology and a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies.

Lenore Hooks
Administrative Director

Lenore is the co-founder of WCC. She has more than 20 years of direct experience working with homeless individuals. She was the Administrative Director and Counselor at Providence House, an inner city rehabilitation center, in San Francisco’s Tenderloin District for 10 years.

Lenore is an Ordained Minister and holds a Human Services Counseling Certification in California.

Josh Hooks
Project Director

Josh has been working with the homeless population since he was a boy. He started volunteering with homeless programs in the inner city of San Francisco when he was just 9 years old. For the last decade, Josh has worked with WCC doing a 10 mile loop of Santa Monica on his bike offering one-on-one help to the homeless.

Brad Hooks
Communications and Youth Specialist

Brad has a Bachelor’s in Social Pyschology and has worked with youth for 20+ years, including a Life Skills program that specialized in helping newly immigrated families from Mexico. He is also an accomplished composer, musician and music director, composing songs directly for youth-centered, socially-conscious programs such as Freeform’s The Fosters (2013-Present).
